Kathleen Marie Clark Webb

The staff at Heishman Funeral Home Inc. sends condolences to the family of Kathleen Marie Clark Webb. Kathleen Marie Clark Webb of Strasburg, Virginia, passed away after a lengthy illness on 14 April 2023 in Berryville, Virginia. Kathleen was born on 21 May 1960 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Melville Anderson Clark and Katherine Magdalene Rost Clark. Kathy was the last of eight children born to her parents (both deceased). Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, the late David Webb also of Strasburg, Virginia; a sister, Virginia Ann Clark; a sister, Mary Ellen Clark; a brother, Rev. James Melville Clark; a brother, Dr. Charles Robert Clark; and a brother, Robert John Clark. Kathy grew up in North Brunswick, NJ and attended Our Lady of Lourdes parochial grammar school in Milltown, North Brunswick High School and graduated Douglass College - Rutgers University New Brunswick Campus with Honors, having been awarded a BA Degree in Communications. For many years, Kathy was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in North Brunswick. During her working career, Kathy was employed for many years by Macy’s in various sales and retail positions. In 2001, Kathy moved to Northern Virginia to be closer to her immediate family. During this period of time, Kathy continued to successfully work in retail, which best suited her affable and friendly personality. Kathy was a warm and loving individual who despite not having any children of her own was a dear and favored aunt to all children, especially to those within her own family. While in her prime, Kathy enjoyed traveling, bike riding, tennis, swimming, arts and crafts, and playing Mrs. Santa Claus at Christmas time. She was very bright and possessed a great wit and was known for her jolly disposition. In later life, Kathy joined and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She and her late husband David were married and sealed together for time and eternity in the Washington DC LDS Temple. Kathy faced many years of poor and debilitating health, but despite it all, she displayed great determination in meeting her challenges. Her commitment to life is, and will continue to be an example of steadfastness and courage for many years to come. Kathy is survived by her older brother, William T. Clark of Charles Town WV; an older sister, Maryann Clark-Durell of Summerville SC; nephews, William J., Matthew D., Christopher M., and Peter Clark; and nieces, Jennie R. Clark, Jessica Carlson and Laura Clark Rohrer; as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews in Michigan, California, South Carolina, West Virginia and Texas.
