The staff at Heishman Funeral Home Inc. send condolences to the family of Anthony Lane Ryman. Anthony Lane Ryman, 72, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at his home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock. Pastor Keon Huh will officiate. Anthony was born June 5, 1949, in Woodstock, son of the late Lester M. and Mary Henry Ryman. He was a 1969 graduate of Central High School and attended Triplet Tech. He was formerly employed with the Shenandoah County School System for over 30 years. He was a very active member of the Woodstock United Methodist Church and a volunteer chaplain at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. He is survived by two brothers, Denny Ryman and wife Karen of Huntington, NY, and Phillip Ryman and wife Debbie of Harrisonburg; two nephews, Michael Ryman and Daniel Ryman and his wife Christie; and two nieces, Kara Ashley Ryman, and Kasey Amelia Ryman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Woodstock United Methodist Church, 154 S Muhlenberg Street, Woodstock, VA 22664.
