Carol Elizabeth Findlay Czarneski, 78, most recently of Woodstock, VA passed from this life into life eternal on March 4, 2022, in Woodstock, VA. Carol, until recently a resident of Columbiana, OH, was born in Houston, TX on March 16, 1943, to Joan and James Findlay. She is survived by her sister, Anne Findlay-Chamberlain (Rod Chamberlain); sister-in-law and brother-in-law Maryann and Michael Bedekovich; and numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Czarneski; her sister Jane Ellen Findlay McEwen; her parents James and Joan Findlay; and her grandparents Mildred Helm Albrecht and Frederick Albrecht, Katherine Reid Findlay and John Thorburn Findlay. Carol worked in human resources for most of her career, and enjoyed traveling with Michael, eating out, spending time with friends and family, attending Grace Church where she served on numerous committees, volunteering for Angels for Animals, and spoiling her beloved dogs Schutze, Tager, and Bandit. A memorial service will be held later in the spring at her home church, Grace Church of Columbiana, OH.
