Earl William Litts Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Earl William Litts, 80, of Edinburg, VA passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Brookside Rehab and Nursing Center in Warrenton, VA. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Chapel, 14116 S. Middle Road, Edinburg, VA. Burial will follow in Mt. Jackson Cemetery in Mt. Jackson, VA. Mr. Litts was born March 19, 1938 in Scranton, PA., son of the late Arlington Charles Litts and Bertha Dorothy Smith Litts. He was veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War serving in the National Guard. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints in Woodstock. He owned Earl Litts Locksmith Service in Silver Spring, MD. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michaela Marguerite Shard Litts and a grandson. He is survived by two daughters, Carol Jean Litts of Edinburg and Brenda Kay Litts-Youmans of Woodbridge; four sons, Earl David Litts of King George, Robert Kenneth Litts of Ashburn, Albert Charles Litts of OdessaTX and Daniel Steven Litts of Edinburg; sister, Jane M. Groom of Gainsville, FL.; two brothers, Harry Litts and Ernest Litts of Clinton, MD; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Earl, Albert, Danny, David, Gregory and Steven Litts. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
