Harriett Marston Carr, 102, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at Greenfield Reflections in Woodstock. The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Level United Methodist Church in Fort Valley. Pastor John Senters will officiate. Burial will follow in Isaiah Clem Cemetery in Fort Valley. Mrs. Carr was born October 14, 1919, in Fort Valley, daughter of the late Ralph Glenn Marston and Dora Belle Crisman Marston. She formerly worked as a manager at Fanny Farmer Candy Co. and as a finishing operator at Batt Bates and Xpedex in Alexandria. She was a member of Oak Level United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Cecil and Frank O. Carr; three sisters, Catherine Farrar, Julia Snyder and Mary Marston and a grandson. She is survived by her daughter, Maisel Lamma of Fort Valley; son, Ralph Cecil and wife Linda of Woodstock; five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne Brill, Thomas Cecil, Frank Cecil, Philip Lamma, Matthew Lamma and Brandon Lamma. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Oak Level United Methodist Church or Isaiah Clem Cemetery, 400 Blackhawk Lane, Fort Valley, VA 22652.
