Matthew Lloyd Madigan, 51, of Woodstock, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 23rd from 6-8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fort Valley Fire Hall from 12:30-3:00 on Friday December 24th for all. A Private Burial will be officiated by Reverend Terry Hendricks. He was born April 2, 1970 in Woodstock. He was a 1990 graduate of Strasburg High School and graduated from James Rumsey Technical Institute. He was employed with CabinetWorks in Mt. Jackson and formerly worked at Southeastern Container, Comfort Inn, Shenandoah Press and General Electric. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Skyline Street Rods and Woodstock Moose Lodge #575. He is survived by his Mom, Rebecca Madigan; Mother, Janet Frye; Partner, Megan Frye; Daughters, Jacklynn Madigan (Justin Smith), and Roe Madigan Hannah (Bob Hannah); Mother of his children, Christy Dysart; Siblings, Wayne Madigan (Ruth), Dwayne Madigan (Amy), Cindy Sherman (Buzz), and BJ Madigan; Nieces and Nephews, Amber Kelley (Justin Kelley), Thomas McGuire (Krys McGuire), Austin Madigan, Natasha Heyer (Sean Heyer, and Allen Madigan; Great Nieces and Nephews, Eli Kelley, Parker Kelley, Kennadie Kelley, William Blake and Roselynn McGuire; and Skye Seay whom was like a daughter to him. Pallbearers will be Wayne Madigan, Dwayne Madigan, BJ Madigan, Kris Bowman, Paul Rush, Freddie Cheshire, Thomas McGuire, Allen Madigan and Austin Madigan.
