Michael Emmett Vaughn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael Emmett Vaughn, 64, of Woodstock, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock. He was born Michael Emmett Winegard on November 30, 1956, in Arlington, Virginia to the late Alice Vaughn Winegard and Emmett Albert Winegard. At the age of six he was adopted by his grandparents, the late Walter Dolan and Ruby Presgraves Vaughn. Michael was educated in Shenandoah County Schools and was a carpenter by trade. In earlier years he liked to hunt, fish, and play cards. Michael was an animal lover and always had a dog or cats for companions. He is survived by aunts, Jean Mumaw, Kathy Lineweaver, Ethel Seal, Susan Harper, Sharon Kaiser; uncle, Buddy Vaughn; as well as numerous cousins. Services will be private. The family owes a debt of gratitude to Mechelle Hullihen for her support and kindness shown to Michael over the years.
