Patricia Ann Hansen

The staff at Heishman Funeral Home would like to send condolences to the family of Mrs. Patricia Hansen. Patricia Ann Hansen, formerly Gabbert, passed peacefully from this earth Tuesday morning, October 19, 2021, having celebrated her 93rd year on this earth. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Wendell Hansen and her sons, Timothy (Diana), Richard (Bonnie), and Erick and by three nephews, and one niece, three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of special friends who she cherished greatly. She was born to a salt of the earth couple, Edith and Ray in Morgantown WV. She is predeceased by her parents, her first husband Earl Gabbert, her brothers Vernon and Keith, her sisters in law Mary and Nola, son Erick’s wife Janis, and granddaughter Shelly. Her love of life, her passion for hot fudge sundaes, and her wonderful sense of humor will be remembered and cherished by all who had the pleasure and joy of knowing her. Through her last days on earth her smiles and her love were inspiring to us all. L.L. Bean and Costco will miss her dearly! A private celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
