The staff at Heishman Funeral Home send condolences to the family of Samuel Philip Cornman. Samuel Philip Cornman, 25, of Woodstock, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church in Woodstock. Pastors Doug Frazier and Dale Bennett will officiate. Samuel Cornman was born May 12, 1996, in Winchester, Virginia, son of Mark Allen Cornman II and Lauri Ann Davis Cornman. He was a 2014 graduate of Central High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Lord Fairfax Community College. He was a drill operator for Valley Rock Services in Manassas and a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving, along with his parents, are his sister, Sarah Cornman of Harrisburg, PA; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Cornman of Keyser, WV.; and the love of his life Jamison Cook of Woodstock. Samuel is permanently healed. We are temporarily broken. Flowers are nice, but instead, next time you’re playing a round of golf, grilling a burger, on the river fishing, listening to your favorite music, or even tossing back a cold one, remember Samuel and the fun times you had with him. He’d like that. To my forever guy and now to my forever angel, words will never describe how we felt about each other. You were the best thing that has ever happened to me. You brought me strength, love, and happiness all at the same time. You were my person and I was yours. We had so many future plans and I plan to do those because I know you’ll be right there with me. Samuel Philip, no one will ever compare to you. I will see you again one day.
