The staff at Heishman Funeral Home Inc. sends condolences to the family of Seth Ryan Bauserman. Seth Ryan Bauserman, 29, of Edinburg, crossed into his eternal life on Saturday, June 25, 2022. He was born October 8, 1992 and is the adored son of Kenneth and Amy Bauserman of Woodstock, and beloved brother of Hayden Bauserman and fiancé, Samantha Staley. Seth is survived by his parents and wife, Brooke Thompson Bauserman, parents-in-law, William and Ingrid Thompson, and brother-in-law, Will Thompson. He is treasured by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Martha Good, and great aunt, Patricia Good. Seth profoundly blessed the lives of his aunts, uncles, and cousins: Steve Bauserman and Gay Verts, Kelly and Randy Helsley & Olivia, Ellen Bauserman, Alesia and Steve Livesay & Nickolas and Kayla. Seth is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Shelby Bauserman. He will be dearly missed by his large, extended family. Seth attended W.W. Robinson Elementary, Peter Muhlenberg Middle School, and graduated from Central High School in 2011. He participated in local Little League sports, AAU basketball and the Winchester Rising Stars basketball league. Seth was a three-sport athlete at Central High School, chosen as team captain in football and basketball, and received Central’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2011. He furthered his education by attending James Madison University and receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in History (2017), and his Master of Education in Teaching degree in Secondary Education (2018). Seth became employed by the Shenandoah County School System in 2018 and returned to his alma mater as a History and Government teacher. His love for Central High School sports led him to his role as assistant coach in varsity football and baseball, and head coach of junior varsity football and baseball, leading his baseball team to the district JV championship in 2019. Seth was an advocate and mentor to his students sharing his quiet presence and genuine concern for their lives within and outside the classroom. He loved well and was well loved by his “Blue and Gold” family and community. Seth was the proud co-owner and operator of K.A.S.H. Farms in Edinburg. His passion for farming was evident when driving his tractor, caring for his livestock, or sharing “farm talk”. Seth’s love for agriculture and diligent work ethic employed him at Farmer’s Livestock Exchange Inc in Winchester and Baker’s Farm Fresh Pork. Seth was a baptized and confirmed member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Woodstock, where he established life-long friendships and lasting memories with his church family. His gentle nature, amazing heart, and humble soul brightened the lives of all who were blessed to know and love him. His witty pranks, sly smile, and mischievous looks will be missed, but remembered by many. Seth’s family is profoundly grateful and uplifted by the countless acts of kindness and love shown to us. As his family, we request that expressions of kindness, love and support be shown to anyone needing a “Seth Bauserman” in their life and to honor him by living your life as he lived. A Celebration of Life will be forthcoming and publicized on Central High School and Heishman Funeral Home’s websites and Facebook pages. Interment will be private. The Seth R.
