The staff at Heishman Funeral Home Inc. sends condolences to the family of Tammy Ann Hamilton Jones. Tammy Ann Hamilton Jones, 56, of Mt. Jackson, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, in Ocean City. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, at 2:00pm at Woods Chapel Church. Pastor Timothy Miller will officiate. Burial will be private in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the church. Mrs. Jones was born September 10, 1965, in Shenandoah County, daughter of Phyllis Ann Bynaker Hamilton of New Market and the late Mairlyn Brooke Hamilton. She was a 1983 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, attended Woods Chapel Church and member and trustee of the New Market Eagles. Surviving, along with her mother, are her husband, Terry Eugene Jones; children, Jason Kagey of Mt. Jackson, Christy Shenk (Jeff) of Mt. Jackson, and Joshua Jones of Woodstock; brothers and sisters, Johnny Hamilton (Amber) of Rockingham County, Mairlyn Good (Danny) of New Market, and Ricky Hamilton (Tina) of Rockingham County; grandchildren, Desiree Kagey, Jason “Jake” Kagey Jr., Isaiah Kagey, Collin Shenk, Christian Figueroa, Haley Custer, Leah Shenk, Abigail Kagey and Rhyker Kagey; great grandchildren, Hendrix Kagey, Primrose Kagey and Jason “Jayce” Kagey III. She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Indigo and Freedom Kagey. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Woods Chapel Church.
