Wayne Snow

September 12, 1943 - December 21, 2018

Retired U.S. Navy CPO Signalman, Wayne Snow 75 of Fort Valley departed this world to be with God on Friday, December 21, 2018. Following 25 years of Naval Service that included eight ships, NTC Orlando, Helicopter Training Squadron 18, and Com Naval Telcom. Wayne Snow continued to serve by engaging in many community projects and assisted with fulfilling the needs of those around him. Wayne Snow, a beloved man of God, is survived by wife, Nancy, and his children, Shawna Derry and husband, Dave, Shane Snow, Renee Newby and husband, Dennis, and stepson, Kelly Skinner and wife, Theresa. Wayne’s legacy of service to God and community continues to live in his wife and children, but also in his eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one step grandchild, two step great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Make a Wish Foundation of Virginia”. It is Wayne’s wish that a celebration of his life not be held until his beloved wife, Nancy, joins him in Heaven. Together on earth they loved, together their life shall be celebrated as they spend their eternity together with God.
