William Henry Beatty Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

The staff at Heishman Valley Funeral Service sends condolences to the family of William Henry Beatty Sr. William Henry Beatty Sr., 73, of Edinburg, VA, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg. Burial will follow at Columbia Furnace Cemetery. Reverend Glen Early will officiate. William was born on October 24, 1948 in Shenandoah County to the late Marvin W. Beatty and Lillie I. Delawder Beatty. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Sandra Sine Beatty of Edinburg, VA. They were married on March 29, 1969. He is also survived by a son, William H. Beatty, Jr. of Edinburg and his girlfriend LaDona Kline and a special little boy he thought of as a grandson, Chase Taylor of New Market; two brother-In-Laws, Johnny Ryman and Joseph Reynard both of Woodstock, VA., and a number of nieces and nephews. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in 1967 and was a member of Union Forge U.M.C. He was a Floor Sander for 35 years. Before retiring, he worked for VA Dept of Highways. He sold used cars at Bill’s used cars. He was a very caring man. He loved his family and loved getting together with his family. He had a laugh that just made you laugh. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Patsy Ryman and Shirley Reynard. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Faudree, Dale (PoJo) Sine, Travis (Trapper) Custer, James Pitcock, Larry Delawder, and Noah Dellinger. The family will receive friends at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg on Monday January 3, 2022 from 6-8pm. The family requests that masks be worn at all services.
