The staff of Heishman Funeral Home/Valley Funeral Service sends condolences to the family of Mrs. Arla Lucille Crowe. Arla Lucille Crowe (nee Cain), beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, nurse and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026 surrounded by love. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Arla later made her home in North Royalton, where she devoted herself to raising her family and building a life centered on faith, compassion and service to others. Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. As a devoted parishioner of St. Albert, the Great, Arla generously shared her time and talents in countless ways. She believed that faith was something to be lived and was an inspiration to others. Determined to pursue her calling to care for others, Arla returned to school and earned her Registered Nursing degree in 1984. Throughout her career that included oncology, hospice, home health and pain management, she cared for countless patients and families with extraordinary compassion and empathy. She had a rare gift for seeing beyond illness - treating every patient and family with dignity and genuine kindness. One of Arla’s greatest gifts was her sense of humor. She had an effortless ability to make others laugh, even during difficult times. Her quick wit and playful spirit brightened every room she entered. Arla’s supreme joy was her family. She was a loving mother, and a proud and treasured grandmother whose unconditional love created a legacy that will continue for generations. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort and welcome, filled with the sounds of classical music that she loved so much – creating memories that her children and grandchildren will forever associate with home. Arla was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Cain and Lois Breeds (nee Acker) and her siblings Charlotte Cziryak, David, Michael and Terrance Breeds. The greatest legacy Arla leaves behind is her family. She is lovingly survived by her children Kelly (Martin) Lucas, Mitchell Crowe, Laura Sudberry, Rachel (Bobby) Green and Thomas (Rebecca) Crowe who were the pride and joy of her life; her adored grandchildren, Kathleen (Ryan) Tywon, Sarah and Mary Sapola, Addison and Liam Crowe, Andrea Keechle and Alex Inman and her eight great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Babitt Busch Funeral Home 9350 Ridge Rd., North Royalton on Thursday September 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial 1:00 p.m. Friday September 11th at St. Albert the Great Parish 6667 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, Ohio.
