Aubey A. Dellinger Jr.

Aubey A. Dellinger Jr., son of Aubey A. Dellinger Sr. and Martha Montross Bowers was born in Johnstown Pa on Feb. 6, 1923. He graduated from Edinburg High School in 1940 and served in the European Theater of Operation during W.W. II. He married Thelma Doris Raper of Murphy N.C. On April 26, 1963 and is survived by one daughter Sandra D. Nelson and two grandchildren, Morgan Nelson and Hunter Nelson and one brother Clyde F. Dellinger of Maurertown Va. He was preceded in death by one sister Norma Dellinger. He retired from the U.S. Government in 1973 taking early retirement and then retired from Johns Manville, working as a machinist. He was raised a Master Mason on July, 1956 in Cassia Lodge #142, Woodstock Va. He was a member of First Baptist church of Woodstock, past deacon and member of the adult choir. He is a member of Muhlenburg Post #199, American Legion Woodstock Va. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7-8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Service with Masonic service at 7:30. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Woodstock, burial to follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
